A last-minute equaliser from Southwell City, from Fraser Bricknell, throws the Eurosoccer Premier Division into another twist and turn as Sandiacre were forced to settle for one point.
Stapleford were able to capitalise on the drama as a dominant 4-0 win over basement side FC Cavaliers meant Sandiacre’s position at the top of the table was usurped only on goal difference with both sides now on 22 points with Stapleford having a game in hand.
A clash between two sides on the wrong side of the table saw Cotgrave and Aslockton & Orston share the spoils in a 1-1 draw as Cotgrave climb out of the bottom two.
Keyworth continued their good form as their win over FC Sez keeps them in the hunt in third place. With a midweek game against Cotgrave coming up, Keyworth will be hoping to push forward with their push for top spot.
The Premier Division also handed us a 2-2 draw between Ravenshead and AFC Dunkirk and a strong 5-0 away win for Awsworth Villa over Attenborough. Two late goals for Wollaton weren’t enough to encourage a late comeback as they fell 3-2 to Woodthorpe Park Rangers.

Both Pythian and Stapleford Town’s Reserves looked to pull themselves away from the lower reaches of Division One, but they provided an end to end 4-4 draw that was great for the neutral but doesn’t help either side in their fight against a potential relegation.
Gedling Southbank capitalised on both Beeston sides dropping two points to move up to third after defeating Kimberley Miners Welfare Reserves 2-1 away from home.
Kirton Brickworks and AFC Top Valley both achieved large scorelines with clean sheets, overturning Meden Vale Colts and Ruddington Village 5-0 and 3-0 respectively.
