  1. Qualification of players

    • All Players must have been registered by the Club by 8pm on the Friday immediately prior to the date of the match for Saturday games and by 2pm on the day of the match for night games.

    • For semi-final and final ties, the player must have been registered in accordance with this rule before the original date of the previous round (i.e., a player must be registered by 8pm the day prior to the original date of the quarter-final to be eligible for the semi-final and registered by 8pm the day prior to the original date of the semi-final to be eligible for the final).

    • A player may also be eligible for the semi-final if they have played a minimum of three bona-fide fixtures (excluding friendlies and abandoned fixtures) for the competing team but was not registered as set out in 10.b for the original quarter-final tie. This also applies to the final in that if a player was not registered as set out in 10.b, they may be eligible if they have played three bona-fide fixtures for the competing team.

    • Dual registered players will not be allowed to play in semi-final or final ties unless they have played in two previous rounds or four bona-fide fixtures for the competing team prior to the original date of the fixture.

    • A Player may be permitted to play in a more Senior Cup Competition in a higher League, but having done so, will NOT then be eligible to play in any Nottinghamshire Senior League Cup Competition. This applies to substitutes only if they have taken an active part in the match.

    • A player may be permitted to play in a more senior Nottinghamshire Senior League Cup Competition, but having done so, will NOT then be permitted to play in any lower ranked Nottinghamshire Senior League Cup Competition. This applies to substitutes only if they have taken an active part in the match.

    • Any team proved to have fielded an ineligible Player will be removed from the Competition.

    • It is the Clubs’ full responsibility to check the eligibility of Players. The Management Committee reserve the right to remove team(s) from the Cup Competition where evidence has proved that the conduct of such team or teams is detrimental to the required standard and has (or could have) brought the Competition into disrepute.

    • Any decision made by the Management Committee relating to the control of the Cup Competition shall be binding. There are no grounds for appeal to the Nottinghamshire Senior League Management Committee or the Nottinghamshire FA.
