Arnold Town were formed in 1989 following a merger between Arnold & Arnold Kingswell. Since then the side have climbed the non league spectrum and currently play in the Northern Counties East Premier Division. The club, who participate regularly in the FA Cup have recently moved from their King George VI ground at Gedling Road to the outskirts of the town and their new modern set up named Eagle Valley. The Reserves join the NSL in 2009 with the leagues emergence in offering competitive local football without the hassle fact of traveling far in mind.
