Originally founded as Wright's & Dobson's FC and playing in the Sunday Leagues (also as The Old Rose FC) until the early 90's, 'The Bees' as they are called due to their yellow and black strip, have won trophies in both the Notts Alliance and Notts Amateur Leagues before cementing themselves among the top sides in the NAA with three successive years in the leagues Premier Division before promotion to the NSL in 2007.
