FC Cavaliers Football Club

Caribbean Cavaliers originally formed in 1978 as Queens Walk FC. After four years in Sunday (Friendly League) football the club changed its name to British Caribbean and joined the Notts Combination League. A further four years went before the side joined the old Spartan League and in the early 1990's changed their name to it's current, Caribbean Cavaliers title. The club joined the MAA in 1996 and under the stewardship of current chairman Everton Richards, won four consecutive Senior Division titles along with the league cup (two times) before being admitted straight in to the NSL Senior Division in 2005. After a year of finding it's feet in the NSL, a remarkable run in the second half of the 2006/07 season helped them to runners up in the league and cup final victory over Keyworth United. In 2007/08 Cav's became only the second club to win the Senior Division & Senior Cup double. After winning the 2010 Senior League Cup the club changed their name to FC Cavaliers.
