Ruddington Village Football Club

Enjoying Nottinghamshires top brand of Amateur League football for well over ten years, Ruddington United became founder members of the NSL's Senior Division in 2004/05. But a tough year for the club (which seen them the first to be penalized with points deduction in the league after the late cancellation of a fixture) saw them finish one place above the bottom after winning only one of their last fifteen games. In 2008 a merger with another local Football side was put in place to help raise the profile of both clubs in the Village.
