Entering the NSL in the leagues debut season as Notts Alliance Senior Division Champions, many tipped the Police to win their second successive league title in 2004/05. However a fifth placed league position was little consolation for a side, that over the last few years has rubber stamped their authority as one of the Counties top Amateur Football clubs. Since joining the NSL in it's founder season, Police came nearest to a trophy in 2007/08 when they were beaten in the Notts Intermediate Section Cup final against Hucknall Rolls Leisure in a penalty shoot out. |
